LOUISE SCOTT

copper plate etchings
marine and wildlife images

Louise Scott has lived and worked in the vibrant city of Glasgow for just two years. She is a member of the Glasgow Print Studio and the Glasgow Society of Women Artists. Previously she lived in Orkney for 17 years where she ran The Inkstone Gallery in the beautiful village of St Margaret’s Hope. She trained in Printmaking at Cheltenham College of Art back in the 80’s and then spent many years in the Conservation Field.

Her work is predominantly copper plate etchings, which she creates using a sewing needle and a magnifying glass!

Her inspiration comes from the natural world and the animals that inhabit earth, air and water.
